Oasis formal nighrs

Does anyone know the formal nights on oasis western itinerary? And how formal is it?

We are going on the Western itinerary in July and I found out that the two formal nights are on Monday and Thursday. At least that is what the January 2017 cruise compass showed that I found. Not sure on how formal. We are dressing us as we are doing family pictures on the first formal night, and then still dressing up on Thursday but making it more fun with all the guys wearing Hawaiian shirts with this suits and/or tux. This was my 19 year old grandson's idea for the fun shirts!

Day 2 and Day 5, both are sea days.

 

The dress will range from barely above casual all through tuxedos and gowns. I would suggest dressing at a level of formality that you are comfortable with. I typically wear a dark suit and tie and have never felt out of place.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. We're also sailing in July. But I'm curious...is a tie mandatory if I'm wearing a suit?
