15126/16140 'Away class ships noise issue

Just off the Breakaway this past Sunday. A week before we sailed, an old thread was resurrected about concerns over noise from the Haven access doors "slamming" open and shut throughout the day and night as people entered and exited the Haven. I will say this: as a light sleeper, this was a non-issue for me. In fact, had some of the best sleep in years last week!

 

The only time I heard any slamming was in the restroom, and unless someone passes out drunk in there from taking too much advantage of the UBP, it won't disturb your sleep 🤣

 

Only thing I would change would be to book Deck 16 next time (we upgraded close to sail date as opposed to winning a bid) because we used the Courtyard and dining facilities a LOT during the week and walking up and down the stairs became cumbersome for DH.
