Guaranteed cabins and price drop

We currently have a guaranteed ocean view balcony booked for HOTS in September. I repriced our trip with the kids sail free promotion and we could save some money by calling RC. My question is will they let us do this since we are currently in a guaranteed room? We were assigned a cabin on Monday and have not made our final payment yet. I have never done a guaranteed room before and weren't sure if there were any rules That might prevent me from taking advantage of this sale.

Hopefully this makes sense to someone!

To answer the original question - you can get a price drop under NA booking rules regardless of what type of booking you had. What could happen is that if the new price is also a GTY, you could go back into the GTY pool.
