brepri_h Posted May 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Prices are great to cruise out of Baltimore in January. How long does it take for the temp to warm up? What kind of hiccups are encountered when it snows prior to the cruise or after?
beachgoddess Posted May 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2017 A few years back we all went to Bermuda from Baltimore in April. Very cold the whole way. Couldn't even sit by the pool. Warmed up in Bermuda. Not sure where you're going but I'm guessing it won't warm up for a ways out. Baltimore weather is very unpredictable- some years we have blizzards in January and then some years we see temps in the 70s ;p I think a good rule of thumb would be to not expect pool weather until you get past the Carolinas and south. If the weather is windy or snowing (or both), the slides will be closed as well as certain decks (sports deck, etc.). Pool may or may not be open depending on the weather. If you park at the pier- they keep up fairly well with plowing the lots (but depending on how much it snowed you will have to dig out your car slightly)
