Carnival fly2fun?

I checked a few weeks ago and the prices were exactly (within $10, but I feel like exactly to the dollar) what I was seeing on the airline's website. I still have some time so I'm hedging my bets, but I've heard there are deals to be had.

I called and talked to someone - and she said "southwest flight xx for $414" which is the flight and dollar amount I was seeing online. She did give me a few options of airlines and airports (I'm partway between two).

I prefer to book my own airline tickets, never use a travel agent. Cheaper is not necessarily better when flying. Cheaper usually means more stops and longer layovers. We do not like 6 am flights, as getting to the airport at 4am is not pleasant for us. Direct flights are always more expensive. We first look at travel sites and then find the flights we like and book directly with the airline. You will have much more flexibility to change tickets booking direct.
