Fun bars or pubs in Nassau

Haven't been to Nassau in a few years.

 

Can anyone recommend a cool place to drink and hang out in Nassau?

 

Actually looking for reasonable prices and walking distance from Port

Senór Frogs is a short walk next to Straw Market. It's kind of honky tonk, but it draws a large crowd from the ships. Lots of music and line dancing.

High prices I heard

Tiki bikini hut. Right on the beach. Reasonable prices. About a 10 minute walk from port. Check them out on TripAdvisor.

I think all the places within walking distance is a tourist trap. I don't care, I go with the flow and have fun anyhow. Senior Frogs has always been a fun place.

 

At least the walking distance places feel adequately safe to me.

I originally thought that you were interested in a cool place near the ships, not necessarily with low prices. I don't believe that there's much around the docks that would fit your criteria.

We went for one drink this February, and didn't think that the cost was onerous. Compared to costs on ship (without the drinks package) I didn't think that it was way out of hand.

 

Good luck in finding something that you enjoy downtown. Honestly, Nassau is one of my least favorite ports, but you may find something that you enjoy.

ok... we went to the clam and it was cool!

2/$5 Sands beers all day!

2 TV's with sports on.

Was totally a fun place.
