Balcony catagories on Brilliance

Recommended Posts

I booked an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 8 of The Brilliance. The room category is E2. There is another Ocean View Balcony room on Deck 7 that appears to have a bigger balcony but it's category E3. I don't know what this means of if it matters. I'd like the bigger balcony but not if the room is less quality. Can anyone tell me what the difference in category means?

Thanks!

The "E" category staterooms are the same size inside. The difference in category might be perceived better location. Note that some balcony staterooms on deck 7 do not have a view straight down to the water.

Thanks Bob, I'm looking at pictures of Brilliance right now & it appears the forward cabins do have bigger balcony's.

I believe those are the balconies in which the outside portion of the divider is partial. Similar to this:

Great picture! It can be hard to find details like this, thank you. I may just stay with my deck 8 room for the privacy.

My first cruise was the Radiance & I LOVE this class of ship but it's hard to remember the details after 6 years
