Just heard of a possible shooting at the rental car area at the Orlando Airport. Hope everyone is ok! So scary!

Just rumors: ORLANDO, Fla.- Police have surrounded an armed man at Orlando International Airport Tuesday evening, airport officials said. OIA spokeswoman Carolyn Fennell said the man is contained in the rental car area on level one of the airport. Information has not been provided on what kind of weapon the man. Fennell said at 8:40 p.m. that the man is surrounded, but not in custody. She said it is not an active shooting incident and no shots have been fired.

Oh good! It broke in on the local news here (I'm in NC) and they were live broadcasting from the airport. Scary!

The Daily Mail (I'm Canadian, but subscribed to their Facebook page) made it sound like he was firing indiscriminately! Shame on them.

Suspect is in custody, airport returning to normal, per WFTV.com
