Beginning swimmer snorkel w maho?

Is there a tour that goes to really shallow reefs to snorkel? My child is 7 and can swim a bit (I realize there are life vests) but gets scared with deeper water. I would love a cat/boat tour more suited to this. If Maho stop or offshore of there to view planes landing, that would be an added bonus!

Maho is much too rough to Snorkle ... Lots of waves and it drops off. Better to find a calmer beach ...
