WorkerBee74 Posted June 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2017 Found a couple of old threads but is the best way still to write a letter to Guest Relations? We want to recognize a bartender who was incredible to us on our past Carnival Miracle cruise...
SadieN Posted June 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2017 Did you get a survey? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
redstapler7 Posted June 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2017 I'm curious if a Survey would be effective. With so many companies, they never seem to do much. Although, we don't work there, so who knows.
springs741 Posted June 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2017 I have been told by several crew member's, that survey information does make a difference. When staff is applying for a change in status position or ship, guest feedback can make or break. When you are an assist waiter and you have multiple guest singing your praises you will likely be promoted.
SheehanDJ Posted June 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2017 Praising an employee by name on a survey means a lot. Promotions, raises, free phone/internet cards, days off, shore excursion audits, just to name a few.
watermelonqueen99 Posted June 6, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2017 We always fill out the survey they send post-cruise, email Carnival with specific ships/dates/names of staff, and also post a message to John Heald's social media page.
Frank12 Posted June 6, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 6, 2017 I've had employees tell me that being mentioned positively by name in a survey is very positive for them. Just as good as or better than a letter.
easyboy Posted June 6, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 6, 2017 I have been told by several crew member's, that survey information does make a difference. When staff is applying for a change in status position or ship, guest feedback can make or break. When you are an assist waiter and you have multiple guest singing your praises you will likely be promoted. Was told similarly by crew. They said positive comments are noted on their file by the corporate office. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Markmom18 Posted June 6, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 6, 2017 LIke what the others have written here, my son, who works for Carnival, also says that the Survey is the best.
