diddy02 Posted June 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2017 My husband and I are looking at booking the Koningsdam for my 50th birthday next year in January around the Caribbean. We enjoy going out in the evening and having a drink and a bit of dancing. Is there much to do after dinner , I am worried that it may be a bit quiet for us. InTheWASide Posted June 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2017 BB Kings in the Queens Lounge for dancing. Other music venues would be Billboard Onboard ("dueling" and sing along piano songs) and Lincoln Center Stage (string/piano group, lots of classical and some contemporary... Michael Buble, different themed performances, etc)

I'd look at Celebrity Reflection, Equinox or Silhouette if you are looking for post dinner entertainment and celebrating a 50th birthday. The two cruise lines are more alike than most would admit to, but for sure Celebrity is attracting a younger crowd. (For fairness we do have the Koningsdam booked in January)
SusieKay Posted June 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2017 Our two most recent cruises were on the Royal Princess transatlantic -4/15 and the Koningsdam - Caribbean 3/17 . Princess had more evening venues for listening to music and/or dancing than the Koningsdam. Overall just felt like a more lively ship.
