iamalmond Posted June 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2017 As I understand, if I am able to book a cabin that is meant for a higher number of occupants (i.e. 3 passengers in a 4/5 passenger cabin), there is a possibility that I may be moved if a cabin for 4 or 5 is needed. However, can Carnival move me to a lower level category? If I book the highest level oceanview cabin, and there are no other cabins available in the same category, if I am moved, would I have to be moved to at least the lowest level balcony? Cruisesfun65 Posted June 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2017 No, you can never be moved to a lower category. But if they really need a quad or quint cabin, there is a possibility you may be upgraded. We just got bumped out of a quad cabin yesterday (but to a triple on the same deck).
