Pbandj1005 Posted June 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2017 Looking for a hotel near the Orlando port to stay in the night before our cruise. Also, I heard some hotels may offer parking for the week of the cruise. TIA
SteerageJoe Posted June 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2017 The good news? There are nearly 50 hotels to choose from within easy driving distance of Port Canaveral. Some cruisers even prefer to stay in Orlando before/after their cruise! The bad news? You have to pick one when 10 people offer 10 different favorites! Not very helpful. Nearly all the hotels close to the Port offer cruise shuttles - this does not mean you get great value or great convenience because you can possibly do better with Uber for example. The same is true for parking when comparing hotel rates/lots with ship-side or off-site lots. I suggest you start with the Hotel Guide for Port Canaveral Cruisers. This way you can narrow your choices and pick the best one for your budget and needs.

JohninDC Posted June 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2017 www.stay123.com and www.parksleepfly.com are two sources to check for hotels offering cruise parking packages. Or stay where you want and park at the port - convenient, covered and secure.
gorgotron Posted June 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2017 When are ya heading there and how many people? https://www.goportcanaveral.com/snooze-park-cruise/hyatt-place-orlando-airport/2-People/1 - $122 for 2 people with complimentary Park n Cruise parking Or https://www.goportcanaveral.com/snooze-park-cruise/hampton-inn-orlando-airport-gateway-village/2-People/1 $130 for the same. Both nice, I did the hyatt place before and I always enjoy it. Hampton Inn was just added to their list, will probably go with them later this year
Pia1913 Posted June 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2017 Did this a year ago and stayed at Country Inn and Suites. This time (August) I will just drive up the same day and park at one of the off port places. Lots of them.

Do you know of any drive/snooze/park/cruise packages that are actually in Port Canaveral. Would prefer not to stay in Orlando. Will be here in October. Would prefer not to stay in Orlando. Will be here in October. Macy They've got a good amount of hotels in Cocoa Beach. All their snooze park cruise packages are here https://www.goportcanaveral.com/snooze-park-cruise just plug in your dates and amount of people https://www.goportcanaveral.com/snooze-park-cruise/hilton-cocoa-beach/ is a great one. It looks like they have more Port Canaveral inventory on Fly Snooze Cruise, like at Homewood Suites. Also, Titusville isn't too far away and they've got a nice bit of hotels in that area as well. In any case, give them a call they have always been very helpful over the phone for me.
