lidopuppy Posted June 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2017 We're looking forward to sailing on the Liberty in a couple months, where Donkey is the CD. I've found very little feedback about him on the boards. If anyone has any feedback, I'd love to hear it. Thanks. Have a great weekend.
Frank12 Posted June 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2017 He was OK. Not the best but certainly not the worst.
cruizinisthebest Posted June 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2017 He was the CD during our Sunshine cruise a few years ago. Nice enough. No complaints. He hosted great atrium parties every night onboard.
rjl1977 Posted June 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2017 I've never had him as a CD but I've heard good things
Jkodko Posted June 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2017 We had him a while back on the pride, our group really liked him! In fact he's the best one we've had on our cruises. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
cruzeluver Posted June 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2017 (edited) We like him a lot. And this is coming from someone who frankly doesn't pay much attention or give a rat's butt who the CD is. He was the assistant CD on our Fantasy cruise a couple of years ago and shortly after got promoted to CD. He's young comparatively speaking (my guess still in his 20's, early 30's at the most). He does not have the hyper spastic poodle on too much coffee thing that a lot of Carnival cd's seem to have. But he is very personable and best of all informative. What made him stand out to us was how well he handled what could have been an awkward situation. Basically, we were kept waiting in the theater for two hours while they tried to determine if we would be able to tender into HMC. People were getting impatient but Donkey kept us well informed on the status, sympathized without being condescending, and did a great job of delivering the final bad news that we would not be going ashore.
