Hiring a car in Italy and France

Does anyone have any suggestions? We will be without a rental car in Porto Santo Stefan, Italy and I'd either like to hire a driver (or rent a car but I"m slightly reluctant given my husband's past hx with car rentals in Europe).

 

Also want to get from Toulon to wineries in Provence. There are several wineries an hour from the port. How do I get there?

Just curious ... why are you posting the same question 3 times in the same message board? Have you looked at the Toulon message board? Any info. there helpful?

On the main Cruise Critic page, click on Boards Home. It's in the blue line across the page. Then scroll down past roll call, past discussion topics where the Ask A Cruise Question is, until you see Ports of Call. Click on Ports of Call. Click on Europe. Then you'll see France and click on France .... Toulon is listed in the ports under France. Hope this helps.

I think you'll have better luck there. (And I agree with you regarding ship excursions!)
