Hi,

We are going to 14-days Cruise to Norway/Island/Scotland by Norwegian Jade.

When searching for shore excursions I found something attractive for a stop at Invergordon.

https://www.highlandtours.info/quintessential-scottish-highland-tour.html

As you see, it's a minibus tour up to 8 passengers, costs 400 pounds at all. 320 pounds - for 4 people.

Is anybody interested to join?:)

Hi SashaVind

We are from Scotland and know this area quite well. It does look like a great tour and if the weather is on your side you will have a fantastic day out. Others also go to visit Nessie on Loch Ness and Urquhart castle as an alternative day out. Personally I would stick with your choice as Struie views are great and Dunrobin and Dornoch lovely. If you are really into your whisky Glenmorangie in very nearby.

I have done this excursion in the past and recommended to others who also had a great tour.

Nigel is a good local fellow

Sometimes he was slow getting back but gave a great tour.

He also has an "in" with the local port. His group of vans were the only ones allowed inside the fence for pickup.

On our cruise he had 6 vans running

Welcome to Cruise Critic! ;)

This thread you're asking about is for a cruise which has already sailed. You'll need to find your cruise/ date/ ship... and ask about tours on your specific cruise, look here:

https://www.cruisecritic.com/rollcalls/ and select your cruise line, presume NCL, ship Jade? and month

Good luck

Hi SashaVind

Agree with Frugasgirl, I live on the Struie road right by the viewpoint so I'm biased... I think it's a brilliant itiniary... but don't know the tour company - I'm sure it will be great. As for the whisky, Clynelish is great - I'm fortunate to have 2 bottles of their cask strength - check if they have it, it's fabulous (there were 3!!)

Enjoy....
