stoneman56 Posted June 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2017 (edited) So let me get this straight. Do we REALLY dock in San Juan at 5pm and depart at 1am? What are you meant to do in the dark? gtaylor Posted June 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2017 It may come as a surprise to you, stoneman, but now even those remote islands have electricity and night lighting. There are even many tours to take advantage of Nighttime San Juan. :) gary

cruzeluver Posted June 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Evening calls at San Juan (as well as early calls when the ship leaves by 1:00-2:00PM) are not unheard of. One of the most popular activities is kayaking through the bio-luminescent bay where the waters glow in different bright, vivid colors. Can only be done in the evenings. We have not yet had the chance but would love to do it. San Juan is one of our favorite ports!
