New Orleans to Memphis

We will be sailing on the AQ next year in May. This is our first cruise with them. We were wondering about the tours in Vicksburg. It appears that you can only choose one thing, either the hop on bus tours OR the 4.5 hour tour of Vicksburg Battlefield. Does anyone know if there are shorter tours of Vicksburg Battlefield available from other local tour companies? We would like to do both tours but we don't know how practical that is. I heard that we will only be there 1/2 of the day.
