marshabear Posted November 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2005 is it ok to wear capri pants on casual night in the dining room?? Carnival and Princess allowed this but wanted to ask before packing them... thanks, Marsha
KevBew Posted November 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2005 Just completed a 7 day on Connnie and the dress code was pretty much just a thought. I saw shorts and jeans on casual night and polo shirts on formal night. I follow the request to adhere to dress codes but I also feel it is a personal choice. Bring them but also bring something to change into if asked. Just to be safe...

kr1st1nm Posted November 29, 2005 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2005 I bring at least one pair everytime for casual nights. They're perfect! Girls can usually get away with almost anything - I think it's because we can always jazz an outfit up with the right accessories and shoes!!! blue_eyes Posted November 29, 2005 #8 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Came off the Constellation on 10th November. I think Capris would be fine (thought about it myself but my ankles were a bit swollen - not a good look!). This was our first ever cruise and I was apprehensive about the dress code. We found that the guide lines given to us were pretty accurate. Don't remember seeing jeans on casual nights but that might have had something to do with the Champagne Bar! Libracruzer Posted November 30, 2005 #9 Share Posted November 30, 2005 Capris/cropped pants are all but a uniform here in Palm Springs - I wear them almost exclusively on all but the formal evenings. Mine range from casual to very dressey. I was just on the Infinity - no problem at all. I average two to three cruises a year and take the same types of clothes no matter which ship that I am on - Sailing on the Jewel of the Seas on 12/3.
