bmwman Posted August 26, 2017 #78 Share Posted August 26, 2017 Mr. Prem is a new name to HAL; did not know about his NCL background; thanks for adding that info Its a pleasure - we sailed with him many times over the years and he was simply amazing he is a true professional and HAL are VERY lucky. We will now have to consider of Platinum Plus status and hopefully meet up with him again. I think from the NCL posts another new HD has joined HAL from NCL. bmwman Posted August 26, 2017 #80 Share Posted August 26, 2017 Mustafa Gulbahar, perhaps? Yes - he is probably the biggest loss to NCL in recent years alongside Prem. He was a much loved officer. We spoke to some crew when we were on a ship recently and they were still stunned and upset about him moving. Musti is truly one the best people we have have ever met - HAL really have gained at NCL loss. We sailed with him many many times and will certainly now be looking forward to sampling HAL. Just wonder how we will cope with the formal nights :)

Thanks again for the info and enjoy that 1st HAL sample when you decide to take it! :D HAL, last year, gained another really good HD who came over from AIDA, a German gent by the name of Michael Hiereth. Had the pleasure of working with him. He's currently Veendam's HD

It will be very different we know (we do love the freestyle element of NCL) Seems like HAL are a great place to be. No problems - hope fully you will get the opportunity to work with them in the future.
