Giveitago Posted July 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2017 Hi Everyone. I am looking at going to Rome from Cittavechia. My Husband and I are travelling on Celebrity Eclipse 3rd September. Can't remember which day we arrive in Cittavechia though. One option from Celebrity is to go via a Vintage Train. Has anyone used this and was it good. I know other cruise ships offer this excursion so am asking this as a general question. I know there are commuter Trains which go frequently but quite fancied this if it is good. Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond Kind Regards

Other than the cars being older they were comfortable and it took about an hour to get to St Pietro station. I think it was $99pp. There is also regular train service but we wanted a gty that we would be back by the time the ship sailed.
