Tram ride

Thanks for the reply. Does it take long to get on a tram? How are the lines?

was on the tram 2 years ago the only wait we had was on wait for the next car to arrived, had a good talked with the lady orperating the tram.she give some good ideas on sight seeing around the area. every thing looked in good shape then

the view is outstanding look down on the ships and can get some great photos of the ships and local area. also try the drinks there they were great

If you are going to do it on your own suggest you get off the ship first chance and walk over on your own, Get there before the ship tours. That is what we did and as mentioned above, got right on, and on up the hill. :D

This is a good idea, but this also depends on what other activities you've got planned for the day. The OP wants to be able to have a drink (or two)--wonderful; try a Bushwacker, we hear they're great up there. The reason we only "hear" that they're great is that we went first thing, but had snorkel excursions planned later in the day. Now I know that some people don't care. However, we take seriously the warning not to mix alcohol with snorkeling or diving. So, while the morning light was spectacular and we had virtually no wait in line, we didn't get to have drinks. Of course, that's a personal call, but it is something to consider. Many people love to end the day there with a drink and the late afternoon view and lighting before heading back to the ship.

 

As always, JMO.
