SW.FloridaPhil Posted July 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2017 We will be in Nassau from about noon to midnight. Would like to go to a local restaurant for some authentic Bahamian food or seafood. Any suggestions??
Adrieske Posted July 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2017 We ate at the port at the recommendation of our taxi driver. There is a stand that is the third from the left of the gate out (if you are facing the street with the ship behind you) and is called Linda's. He said only buy from Linda, no one else. It was really good and had conch, plantains, curried chicken, peas and rice, etc. A lot of the locals were eating there as well. Sodas are right next to her and are only $1. Rare CruisinCrow Posted July 10, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2017 Check out one of the restaurants at the Fish Fry: http://susancrow.blogspot.com/2014/09/nassaus-fish-fry.html Twin Brothers seems to be one of the most popular ones but there are plenty of others.
