MrsFops&FopsC5 Posted November 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2005 We did on the CB in April. Baja deck... Didn't even know there was an elevator. When I saw the room I had the same concern. Hope this helps
Julia & David Posted November 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2005 We were the last cabin closest to the mid ship elevators and never once heard any noise from there. That was on the Aloha deck of the Caribbean Princess.
Druke I Posted November 29, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2005 Generally speaking, noise from people using the elevators is more of a problem than the elevators themselves. In our many cruises, the only time we heard noisy elevators was the forward elevator bank on Golden Princess' trans-Atlantic, 8-02, during a heavy storm, when we could hear the cars banging about in the shaft. We used the midships elevators during that period, as our own form of reassuring ourselves that all was fine.
