You appear to be referring to the Digital Workshop on Deck 3/Promenade Deck starboard side ; their PCs are not the same as the ones in the Explorations Cafe and are not for general use unless you find yourself in one of the classes offered by the 'techspert' (new name: digital workshop host)

In fact, I think the wooden desks were also formerly in the old crow's nest. I didn't use them on this cruise, but on other cruises you could access NY Times and a few other sites "free" on those computers. Of course you could access any website if you bought an internet package. There was also a small bar in that space as well. But every time I passed it, it was dark. Granted I didn't pass by this spot often, but I never saw any staffer at that bar or anyone using the computers. These days, with almost everybody having a cell phone and/or tablet, I'm sure that's why they only have a few. This whole area is very small. The Digital Workshop classroom is also nearby. Yes, that's where they offer classes with the "techspert." Those computers are not for public use.

We were on Westy for the recent New Year's voyage, so prior to her Spring dry-dock in Palermo. At that time, she used to have a very small "chocolate bar" in that area in between the show lounge and Merabella jewelry shop. There was seldom anyone there. I'm wondering if that's now the designated computer area. Anyway, many thanks for taking the time to write your comprehensive review! :D
