Is there really no refrigerators in the rooms? My dad has to bring insulin and it needs to stay cool? Will they give him one?

You may want to bring a small cooler and advise that you will need a sharps container for syringes etc

Check with your pharmacist. Many but not all brands of insulin can safely be stored at room temperature. Hubby rotates through 3 injectables to control his diabetes including insulin. I just checked and all three list storage at temps below 86 degrees as safe for one month after first use. I was surprised at 86, my memory told me 78.
