connerjc Posted November 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2005 A little late to be asking since we leave Sun. 12/04 but does anyone know if cabin #6300 will be exceptionally noisy? This Upper Deck cabin above the casino appears to be in the right back corner as you are looking into the casino from the promenade. If I remember correctly, there are slot machines in that area. Don't care about noise in the daytime - won't be in the cabin but would really appreciate quiet starting about 11-12 (okay I'll settle for 1am, at night). I have trouble sleeping with lots of noise (my husband says I have "bat ears" and hear every little noise). Not true, he apparently has a small hearing problem -just kidding (in case he reads this). May be a moot point anyway since my noisy brother-in-law and (single) youngest son are in cabin on one side and night owl eldest son/wife on other side. They all make a lot of noise!!! (And I'm not kidding about that). Also, does the balcony take up all the extra space one usually has in an oceanview? Really enjoyed our oceanview last May on the Conquest. We were originally booked in an oceanview, upgraded to balcony. Thanks in advance to anyone with information.
serene56 Posted December 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2005 I really dont think you have to worry about noise from the casino. We were under the casino on the Legend and I fretted for noise for months before we left..never heard nothing. I dont know if its because by the time you lay down you are soo tired from all the extra activities, sea air plus all that food...noise is the least of your worries. Have a great cruise and dont forget to come back and let us know
