AdGuyMG Posted July 28, 2017 #51 Share Posted July 28, 2017 You would lose $100 of the $250 per person deposit. The remaining $150 can be applied to the new cruise. They would lose $200 ($100 per person) of the $500 deposit. The remaining $300 would be applied to the new cruise.
Rare John&LaLa Posted July 28, 2017 #52 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Me too. I've read where some say this practice took place but I haven't seen it. I think some are apologists for everything that Royal does. Was this abuse at all prevalent? Hard to say. I do know that a ton of CLS's are recently available for our Halloween cruise on Oasis. Follow up with Aug 2018 Serenade TA. Suites sold out in hours if not minutes. This was released before new policy as I recall. nealstuber Posted July 28, 2017 #53 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Sitting on our Liberty Balcony last month enjoying a flawless debarkation from Coz, I thought the following: How much time, money and effort must go in to making this happen....Everything involved in building something that can do what we're doing.... Everything involved in making sure it happens on time and safely.....All of the financial risk involved with every decision along the way... Surely that deserves a much higher ROI than an aggressive mutual fund. How wonderful it is that we have companies willing and able to take that kind gamble. Now, if they could just get the bar service at the pools and casinos right and keep the galley tour hawkers out of my face during dinner, I'd be totally satisfied!
