Gaelrex Posted July 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2017 hi, hope it is ok to post this. My husband and I are looking to book a cruise on Thomsons discovery and would like a balcony cabin or deluxe balcony cabin but would like advice on which and where on the ship would be best to book. Would be grateful for any advice, thank you.
Vitalsign Posted July 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2017 I would always book midships both laterally and horizontally - somewhere near the coffee port looks good which is where we've booked for next year
welsh.cruisers Posted July 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2017 We book midship ensuring cabins above and below and not too close to lifts. We also avoid 'white space' on deck plane as can be cleaners cupboards or machinery which can be noisy. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Hi Gaelrex you will be entitled to a stern balcony by booking a deluxe on deck seven and pick a stern cabin on deck six which has a fridge i have done this twice very panoramic and very quite i hope this helps.
