FLL before cruise

Hello All,

Looking to book flight on the day of the cruise for Allure of the Seas cruise. Best deal on a flight arrives before 9 am at FLL airport morning of.

 

I know you don't board till like 11:30-12 PM most likely later.

 

What is a good option to kill some time on morning of cruise?

You won't have a bunch of time. Arriving at 9am, waiting for bags until 9:30am, have breakfast until 10:30am, time to go to the port.

Don't know where you will be flying in from, but I hope you don't have a delay. Seems like all the airlines have delays or cancellations nowadays no matter what the weather is doing.

Most experienced cruisers fly in at least the day before. Where are you coming from, what month, is it a direct flight? And do you have travel insurance for the cruise?

Yeah, I agree, I'd much rather pay even a bit more, and have a Hotel the night before for the piece of mind.

 

Granted, the ship doesn't depart till later in the afternoon (And I don't know what is the latest you can Board), but I'd rather not deal with that potential stress after all the planning (and $$) only to miss Boarding.

 

I'm sure lots of passengers fly in the day of, I stress all day until we are on the ship anyway and Bags are in the Room, I don't need "Flight Delay" stress too.

You won't have time for much of anything. I'd have breakfast near the port and get on the ship early :)
