Tahitian Princess - Balcony Cabin Refrigerators ?

Yes or no? Even the Princess agents on the phone line cannot agree.:confused:

Princess' "Cruise Answer Book" that they sent me last week specifically says that on the TP only suites and mini-suites have refrigerators. So I guess that's a No for all grades of cabin.

There have been oodles of comments on various threads about the fridges. They DO HAVE THEM in the balcony rooms as of the TP's last dry dock in Spring '05. They moved the safes out of the closet and put a small fridge in its place. People who have actually been on the ship have reported this so I believe it trumps whatever you have been sent by Princess.

Just returned this morning from our cruise, and our balcony room (7085) did indeed have a small refrigerator. We had an awesome time, we'll be posting a review soon...

Thanks alot! That's why I was asking those just off the ship. On the last cruise I met a guy who was on a comp for the company who produces the brochures and he said they only update specific info about twice per year.

kbmagic Going on the T.P. in August and we were just given an upgrade to7085. Being near the stairs and elevators we were concerned it might be noisy? What did you think. Jan

Hi Jan,

 

We didn't have any problems with noise at all, in fact, we really loved the location of this room... so close to the elevator... for those times when we were tired from shore excursions.... we were just a few steps away from the elevator, which lets you out a few steps from the dining room on the 5th floor or the buffet on the 9th floor.

 

Of coiurse, being so close to the stairs was convenient too for when we weren't feeling so lazy... I would choose this room again if we were fortunate enough to go again on the TP.
