Sleep Inn &suites Ft Lauderdale

Anyone stayed here recently? Has the area lost some of its local businesses, Publix, walgreens, etc? Is it still a good location for one night stay prior to cruise?

I stayed there January, 2015. We walked to the Publix, about an half mile away, and the Walgreens was next door. The restaurants, across the street, were gone, but after researching the area recently, I see there are a few places that opened (Hemmingway Bistro and Hunan Wok). As for a good location, it was back in 2015.

Stayed there in February. There is a Neighbourhood Walmart across the road now.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn in November last year for 2 nights. We thought it was a great spot.

Hemmingway's Bistro will look after you well for dinner - try their French Onion Soup! Walgreens is in the car park of the hotel and Walmart supermarket across the street along with a Dollar shop.

 

Us two girls from West Aussie were in heaven!
