Indianabahamamama Posted July 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Had anyone had an inside stateroom on the Epic and had trouble with two people getting ready at the same time? Looks awfully small. Please share your experience. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Crazy planning mom Posted July 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2017 The Epic has a lot of inward facing public space. We had a balcony on the Epic and I wouldn't do am inside on that particular ship.
SquishTheWhale Posted July 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2017 We had one for 10 nights and it was totally fine. We are married so obviously we are cosy with each other already, maybe it would be more awkward with a friend. The split bathroom actually helps with getting ready. Rare BirdTravels Posted July 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Yes. Inside rooms are small. It feel smaller since ther is no bathroom. One small room with a toilet in one corner and a shower in the other. No separate bathroom. (All nonsuite rooms are the same way).
Froggitt Posted July 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Balcony rooms are small as well. Maybe 12 inches of space between the end of the bed and the sink area. Not enough room to pass your friend between the settee and the wardrobe.
debnjoe1438 Posted July 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Had and inside on Epic and Escape. No problems, yet really small. On the bigger ships, I'm going for the balcony.:)

Sent from my iPad using Forums Friend Carol & I have had an inside cabin on both trips, space it tight but it is doable with the bathroom setup as the washand basin is in the cabin area, 2 people dont need to be brushing teeth @ same time.
drcarp4 Posted August 30, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2017 We're a married couple and had no problems size wise on getting ready. But of course the Wife rules the getting ready game and I just flit around and take care of business.;)
Tiggertastic Posted August 30, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 30, 2017 One can be dressing, hair, makeup whilst the other us in the shower. It worked well for us. Only time we struggled was if we both needed to use the hairdryer Sent from my iPad using Forums

mumluv2cruz Posted August 31, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Is small but doable. You just need to be a little organised. I was sailing with my daughter so she showered first as she takes longer to get ready. I laid my clothes on the bed first as opening the wardrobe whilst my daughter was drying her hair meant her having to step aside much to her annoyance. Funny how simple little things can bug people. We had a great time though
Brits 2006 Posted August 31, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 31, 2017 We found the space ok, what I found awful was how dark the cabin was even with every light on. I had to practically open the right hand glass wardrobe door as wide as it would go to try and get some of the light from the toilet or sit on the toilet to do make up as the the light in there was slightly brighter. Mrschip Posted September 4, 2017 #15 Share Posted September 4, 2017 We stayed in one of the smallest inside rooms on the Epic with our 2 kids. Last minute booking so we did not have much of a choice. That was tight but we'd do it again. 2 people has got to be a breeze! As long as you don't overdo it with the luggage and store that away in the closet you'll have ample room. Just stay organized and realize it is an inside room and not the Haven!
