dual Posted July 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Just planning my "To Do" lists for my upcoming November Cruise. Im looking at http://www.cruisetimetables.com/visitingstthomasusvirginislands-29nov2017.html and can someone just help me out, although I see 10 entries on this date, is it 4 ships in port on 29th Nov? Is this a reputable website for this info? Im basing that off the name of the ship. At first I thought there were 10 ships in port and I was thinking thats gonna be a bit busy lol
Livethelife Posted July 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2017 I have not used the website that you mentioned so I cannot confirm or deny it's accuracy regarding the dates for each specific port; however reading the details there are really only 4 ships in St. Thomas on Nov 29, 2017 as of now. The ships are the Allure, the Regal Princess, the Riviera, and the Nieuw Amsterdam. The reason it appears that there are 10 is because three of these ships are offering 7 day and longer cruises as B2Bs. Regal Princess is listed 3 times, Oceania's Riviera twice, and Nieuw Amsterdam 4 times but each ship has 1 stop in St Thomas on the 29th of Nov. Hope this helps! blue_water Posted July 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2017 (edited) For St Thomas this schedule is a good resource because it not only shows what ships are in port but also where they dock (Crown Bay or Havensight). The November schedule isn't posted yet, check back later. http://www.**********/cruise/ship-schedule/11-2017/ For other ports another source is the Cruise TT site - that also shows the 4 ships, you can see the arrival and departure times for each ship by selecting that ship. http://m.cruisett.com/p/US_Virgin_Islands/620-Saint_Thomas/November_2017/ Edited July 30, 2017 by blue_water typo
Getting out there Posted July 31, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2017 I don't know how up to date they are. I looked at my ship and not all the days are correct, but mine's farther out.
blue_water Posted July 31, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Yes you'll want to check the calendars as you get closer. Schedules can also change for various reasons but these cruise ship calendars are helpful in planning your day.
