Sailing with a wedding group of 30 people and trying to find a spot for everyone to meet up at 2pm (ish) on boarding day.

Is the Pig & Anchor a good spot for this? Is there ample seating at that location?

Any better suggestions?

TIA !

If you don't find enough seats at P&A, try the Red Frog Pub - one side had stools right at the bar plus stools with small round tables towards the window. Extra seating in the booths on the other side and outdoors.

P&A can get crowded on Vista since it attracts a higher % of seasoned sailors who know how to get around on a Carnival ship..

I was thinking that since it is embarkment day, not too many people will know the 'secret' of the P&A.

Does anyone know how many tables there is in the area? 4 or 5 or like 10 - 15?

Not a great spot. Not a ton of seating and Carnival tells everyone its open so you will not have enough room. The Italian or Asian on deck 11 would be a lot better. They are both open for lunch (free) and no one goes up there. There was not a table to be found at the Marketplace and maybe 1 table in each was being used at these places. You can either take the Aft elevators up to 11 or there are stairs at the back of the marketplace on 10.

Thanks - Is the Italian or Asian like a sit down restaurant? I'm just wondering if our guests are all coming in staggered we won't be sitting together where as an outside venue at least people could stand with a drink in hand !

Any other outdoor meeting suggestions?

If no one knows about the "secret" of the P&A, they certainly will after 30 people gather there.

You seem to be more interested in gathering than in eating, given the rapidity with which you shot down Cucina del Capitano and JiJi's. Given that, Ocean Plaza is another option. It's not outside, but it's certainly "people can stand around with a drink in hand." If you really want outdoor, the outdoor seating area for, say, Cherry on Top is another possibility. You could even get P&A food and go over to CoT, which should be really empty. Or just further up the Lanai from P&A, like around the Fun Shops. Again, you could get food at P&A, then run up the lanai/promenade to a different area and sit there.

I agree Ocean Plaza would be a good spot. P&A is right outside. It's a spacious venue and people get the BBQ and then eat inside at the Ocean Plaza. My group did this, but more because it was so hot outside.
