Kiwihdrider Posted August 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2017 TV Set info please We were on the 2016 cruise and the TV sets at that time were unable to be used as a monitor with your computer etc. Nice to be able to see photos taken and played back on decent size screen. Can someone on the present WC cruise tell me do the existing TV sets have an HDMI input socket or not and can you access the TV menu via the remote to select the option to use computer. On our cruise we were unable to do that so in the end I obtained a cheap monitor. Prefer to use cabin TV tho thus not having to take monitor with us. Any help greatly appreciated. Looking forward to June 2018 Kiwihdrider Rod and Lynda Sent from my iPad using Forums

Hogbay Posted August 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2017 All TV's are configured in whats called "Hotel Mode " with a compatible remote to that system . Yes they have HDMI input but you will need a remote for that TV and to re set / re conform to use the HDMI or RCA input

jn2003 Posted August 3, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2017 The Sea Princess is heading for a dry-dock make over later this year, maybe Oct/Nov. Fingers crossed for new TV's and video on demand.
