Help deciding

Hi....

I am looking at cruises for the first week in jan.

I can't decided between royal carribean or carnival.

I have managed to get the list down to 2 carnival and 2 RC cruises.

 

The carnival ones are:

Carnival splendor

Carnival glory

We like the itinerary on both of them and they both leave from miami a day apart. Which ship would you choose and why?

 

Carnival is slightly cheaper than RC and thats with us both having a drinks package rather than just 1 package on RC.

While I haven't actually been on a carnival cruise yet, we have one booked for February, we have sailed RCCL before. We chose to go with carnival this time because of the price difference as well as the fact that in 7 days you get 4 ports of call vs three. That's really the only reason. It depends on what you are more interested in personally.

Yeah i do like the fact you get 4 instead of 3.

We were looking at a 9 or 8 night wth RC and theres 4 stops on each of them.

 

Why is it so hard choosing 😂😂

I know we've only been on RC up until now but only as a couple. This next one we are taking our sons and the price difference between the two lines was crazy. Even with booking with RC during the kids sail free we paid $400 less and were able to get balcony on carnival vs ocean view on RC. I couldn't see Royal being that much better.

Yeah same for us... if both of us had a drinks package on royal carribean it would be about £400 dearer per person!!

We liked her when she was sailing out of Long Beach. Will be sailing on her again in February and August after she returns.

Just off Splendor in July. Was on Glory last year in June. Both great ships and the flow was almost the same. Liked Splendor little more. Just something about her we like more.

 

Which ship you choose you will have a great time I believe.
