marymcgol Posted August 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2017 My husband uses a CPAP machine while sleeping. We will be on a Radiance class ship later this month and can't remember if there is a plug near the night stand or whether we need to bring an extension cord. Any advice would be appreciated. lajbec Posted August 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2017 Email special_needs@rccl.com and let them know that your husband has a CPAP and needs an extension cord and distilled water. They will be in your cabin. This address has been really great at responding to our needs. Sent from my SM-G950U using Forums mobile app

Merion_Mom Posted August 4, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2017 There is no outlet by the bed. They may take away YOUR extension cord, so do as the others suggested: Contact special needs and they will supply the cord and the distilled water. Bon Voyage! :)
brklyn78 Posted August 4, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2017 When I do non-cruise travel I find myself a little cranky as I have to search for a local source of distilled water on the day of check in. I've been spoiled by the fact that the cruise line takes care of that for us. I also always forget about an extension cord, but usually there is some nonsense (alarm clock) that I can unplug near the bed to make up for it. You'll find the cruise line to be very cpap friendly -- and you'll miss it the next time you are in a regular hotel.
lbjen Posted August 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2017 Someone else posted that they bought an extra long power cable for their machine so that they wouldn't have to worry about extension strips again. My husband's machine came with a pretty long cable so we haven't needed an extension for it yet.

Papaglejo Posted August 13, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 13, 2017 On Oasis, is there a plug near bed for Cpap?
joand452 Posted August 13, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 13, 2017 On Oasis, is there a plug near bed for Cpap? Yes, behind the left side (as you're looking at it from the foot) of the bed. You'll have to lift that corner of the mattress to see it. Sent from my iPad using Forums
