Organizing a Group Cruise

Help! I know this was talked about awhile ago, but the search feature isn't working for me.

 

Can anyone suggest good websites with info on being the organizer of a group cruise? Thanks!

I don't know any good websites but...I am in the process of planning a group cruise right now. My two cruiseline choices were RCCL and Carnival based on ports and ship activities. I found Carnival to be much more customer oriented toward individuals planning group cruises. Just an observation.

Travelkeys-- can you elaborate? do you mean that Carnival is more accomodating to your group needs, or more helpful with the organizing plans? I was going to go with RCCL, but would like to hear if you've had problems or a bad experience with their customer service.

 

I'm hoping to have special events planned, even just small gatherings and maybe board game nights, maybe a joint birthday party, etc. Are you doing anything like this?

Are you talking about a family group, or opening it up to anybody who wants to cruise with the group? There are great resources right here on Cruise Critic for planning a group. You need to contact Laura, I think there is a link to planning a group cruise on here also. I am leading a group cruise thru cruise critic, started as a couple of friends, we were able to get fantastic pricing and amenities thru the TA working with Cruise Critic. We got on board credit, free cocktail party, casino tokens and cruise critic merchandise. My samll group is now up to almost 90 people:eek:
