Peteymil Posted August 3, 2018 Author #27 Share Posted August 3, 2018 For those of you that visited Tenuta Torciano, did you do a tour of the vineyard, followed by lunch + tasting? How much did this cost per person? All of the different opportunities are listed in their website. We did a tasting and lunch in the vineyard and that was €65 per person, however there are other alternatives that are cheaper than eating right in the vineyard. Carribian Seagull Posted August 23, 2018 #28 Share Posted August 23, 2018 We would love to visit the same Tenuta Torciano. With what company did you book your travel? Even if we buy tickets from their website, we still need someone to take us from the port Livorno? Please advise....

We went to Volterra first for about 1 1/2 hours, then to the winery for our lunch in the vineyard which was about 2 hours, then to San Gimigiano. The entire day was incredible!! ernieb Posted September 3, 2018 #31 Share Posted September 3, 2018 We ended up going to Tenuta Torciano. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We ended up choosing to eat in the vineyard, and it was incredibly beautiful. We ate in a gazebo with the vines all around us, and it was just the 2 of us so it was very romantic! The 4 course homemade lunch was delicious. Andy provided so much information, along with tastings of 12 wonderful wines. It is a family run business and you could feel the love. At 65€ it was a bargain!! We have visited Tenuta Torciano twice previously and have also had them provide a wine tasting in our home here in Tennessee. Needless to say, we really enjoy their wine and the winery. However, we will again be visiting the area in October and think we would like to visit another winery. Does anyone have a recommendation for a different winery that compares favorably to Tenuta Torciano? If not, we will probably return again.
