Thank you. I assume the luggage fee is per bag including carry on bags. It looks like the Carib Hilton must be in the Old San Juan zone. We’re thinking of going to dinner at Sofia’s that evening. How can we tell what the fare would be from the Hilton to Sofia’s?

Do the taxis take AmEx? We will be going to the Carib Hilton. Anyone know the approximate fare? Any chance the driver might speak English?

On March 31 we will depart Miami for Barcelona for 14 days after a 7 day segment from San Juan. This will be our first TA and I’m wondering what kind of weather we should expect. I hope it will be pleasant, but would like to be prepared in case we might get some cold weather. TIA

We will be in San Juan 3 weeks from today. Considering Sofia’s for dinner or possibly Barranchina. Which would have better food or are there better options?

We are also interested in having one of the restaurants prepare us a meal that is not on their normal menu. Maybe a fried seafood platter. I think this is possible with 24 hours notice, but not sure if possible in the specialty restaurants or only in Compass Rose.

We will be boarding the Splendor March 24 in San Juan. I understand that when embarking and debarking the ships use the Pan American dock. If it’s only a port call they use the Old Town dock.

We will have a pre-night stay at the Caribe Hilton next March. I see the hotel also has a Morton’s Steakhouse. Does anyone have experience with this restaurant?

No, the itinerary in “my account” is for all 21 days.

We will be on Splendor next March for the Lavish Crossing, 21 days, from San Juan to Barcelona. When I look for the Culinary Arts classes, it only shows three days during the segment from San Juan to Miami. Does anyone know why I am not able to see the classes for the 14 day Miami to Barcelona segment?

I am booked into the Cribe Hilton prior to a cruise next March. I’ve been reading some disturbing reviews on this hotel and am wondering if I should make other arrangements. I will appreciate additional information from anyone familiar with the property.

In “my account “ it’s on the first day of our itinerary. We are using points to fly into San Juan so will arrange our own transportation to the hotel. We will be using the Regent transfers from the hotel to the port. What seems to be the problem with the Caribe Hilton?

Hello Mike this is off the current topic and should be in the Regent Air topic, but I hope you can help anyway. My TA just told me that Regent no longer contracts with Delta and their partners and to get flights on Delta from BCA to ATL I will have to pay the difference between Regent’s contract price and Delta’s published fair. Do you know if that is correct? Thanks

My TA is telling me that Regent is not contracting with Delta and its partners. Does anyone know if that is true?

My DW and I will be departing on the Splendor on March 24 out of San Juan. I have checked our itinerary and see that we are booked in the Caribe Hilton for the pre-night stay. I’ve noticed above that this is a very nice hotel, but in what was possibly a rough neighborhood. Is this still the case? If so, what about the in-house restaurants? If they are not too good are there nice restaurants within a reasonable taxi ride? Thanks

Next March we will be taking the Splendor out of San Juan. I have used points to obtain first class flights into San Juan but we will be using the included pre cruise hotel night. I understand that I will need to cover the airport to hotel transfer myself, but the hotel to port transfer will be covered by Regent. Anyone else have experience with this?

Our 2022 cruise required us to to have up to date vaccines and boosters and a negative test before boarding. We will be on the Splendor in March 2024 and hope that all that’s behind us. Can anyone tell us what the process currently is? Thanks

We will be able to book shore excursions in a little over a month. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t seem to find a listing of the excursions available for the ports we will be visiting. Is there a way to review the excursions prior to when they become available for booking?

We will have 4 Sundays on our 21 days on board Splendor in 2024, but only 1 will be a sea day. Embark on Sunday in San Juan. Sunday in Miami for transition day. Sunday sea day. And then Sunday disembark in Barcelona. Sounds like only 1 Sunday brunch, but what should we expect on the others?
