yes, there is usually a cover band. Depending on the ship, they are either located near the casino, or in the Ocean Plaza, I believe.

Which ship are you on?

Not all of Carnival ships have room in the casino for any entertainers to perform much less a four or five piece band. On most cruises now they have their house band playing either in the Ocean Plaza or in the Red Frog Pub at night

When I was on the Glory in January, the band played on one side of the casino.

we are on the breeze this sunday it has been about two years since we have sailed on carnival .at that time they did away with the pit band in the big show room and four or more guys from that bands was still on the ship playing cover music.. before that time there was always was bands from the phillpienie playing cover music i hope the breezes has some live bands still playing we love good live music

On the inspiration and imagination, they play on the promenade deck opposite the casino bar, not in the casino itself.
