RogueMonk Posted August 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Every time we cruise, I have a small travel briefcase/suitcase that I use to transport my diet cokes and my wife's iced teas. We bring 12 cans of each. It is wheeled, so it nice and easy to tow as a cary-on. I am wondering if anybody has experience with a small wheeled cooler? Schoifmom Posted August 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2017 No experience. I have seen them in line, but I don't know if they have gotten them on. Carnival specifies that you can take a soft-sided cooler of no more than 12x12x12.
Slacktide Posted August 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2017 Coolers have to be no larger than 12"x12". I had one on wheels that was 12"x13", the smallest l could find. I was turned away with it at the Baltimore port. What I use now is a soft sided cooler that is removable from the small callapsable hand truck it came with. I pack the cooler in my checked luggage and use the little hand truck for the 12pacs and the wine. On the last night of the cruise everything but a change of clothes and the cooler/hand truck go in the checked luggage. We put are dirty clothes in the cooler the next morning and disembark. beachbum6264 Posted August 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2017 I have seen a few of them piled up near the security entrance, both in NOLA and Port Canaveral. Didn't pay attention in Tampa. I would hate to lose mine, so I haven't taken it even tho we always drive to the port.
