Jacksonville debarkation

Has anyone done self-assist debarkation in Jacksonville? If so, were there issues with getting an elevator? I have booked up on the Empress deck thinking we would get on and off from that deck, but have been told that in Jacksonville it is more like deck 3 that you embark and debark. :( I'm wondering if self-assist would be a nightmare. Thanks for any insight you can provide!
