We have booked back to back cruise on QV. 4 nights then 75 nights departing 3rd January 2018 .

We wish to spend day in Southampton to do some shopping but not sure if we will have to check in for 2nd cruise or can we just get new cards from reception.

The only problem is that on 2nd cruise we have to show Yellow Fever certificates.

Really don't want to go through 2 check ins.

Any ideas?

You usually get your new Boarding card from Customer Services on board.. You debark ship with your old card and embark with the new. This usually confirmed by a letter to your stateroom on the night prior to arrival at the changeover port.

You should confirm this however when on your first cruise.

If you are not in the same stateroom then that is all organised for you as well, just take your valuables from your safe and anything else you do not wish the room staff to touch.

In addition to what Pennbank wrote, I would advise producing the Yellow Fever certificates to guest relations on the final full day of your short cruise.
