Fragile-Beauty Posted August 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2017 Does anyone know if the TV on the Koningsdam has any headphone jacks on it like some other TV's do? I like to read in bed and my husband likes to watch movies and it seems that most movies now a days get so loud you can't keep it on a constant volume. thanks for any info
hastinc Posted August 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2017 The TVs are Samsung Smart TVs so they do have headphone socket. Unfortunately the TVs are wall mounted and the all the connection sockets are inaccessible. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

hastinc Posted August 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2017 The Konningsdam Balcony suite TV are 42". They do not have the full function Samsung remote control, but instead have a basic on/off, channel up/down, volume up/down, mute and buttons to move around the HAL multi-media menu options. Fragile-Beauty Posted August 28, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted August 28, 2017 Thanks all for the reply. So that will not help me with all plugs on the back of the tv
bigwally Posted August 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 29, 2017 Take a universal remote and the instructions to set it to the IR frequencies on the TV. Easy-peasy. The one we take with us was $10 (on sale) at Best Buy. It's back-lit for nighttime use and anyway, since we use the same remote for our bedroom at home, a layout we're already used to. MaisonRose Posted August 29, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 29, 2017 This was not on HAL but on our X TA in April (advice we read in the roll call) we took our HDMI connx and a generic remote control and Voila! Watched downloaded movies streamed from my laptop. The trick is to have a SOURCE button to navigate to the correct feed.
