Slot Pull And Private Party Questions

We have a fairly large group of cruisers on our September 24th Dream cruise with lots of activities planned.

One of those is a slot pull. I've read on here that the casino manager may provide some door prizes. How do I find out in advance? Email them ? To where?

Also has any group booked a party through Carnival events? With open bar? Anyone have any idea on the cost?

Thanks for any help!!!

I have run multiple slot pulls with groups exceeding 50 people to as low as 20 people. They are a lot of fun and a great meet and mingle. In the past I would send John Heald on FB a message, with the details of time you want to hold the event. He will send the casino host a message and you will be all set. I normally run mine on the first see morning at 10:30, so not to interfere with any casino run slot tournaments. I would then go to the casino after sailing and meet the slot host. He or she will show you the different machines and hold the 1 you want to play the morning of the event. In the past they have provided 4 small prizes.

Any other questions please ask.

Alan

If you have a group of more than 20 booked in your group it is really easy to setup. The cost is between $16 to $22 per person for the drink package for your party and then you can add different food options that will raise the cost. Those prices are for 1 hour but you can have longer parties. We are having one for the first time on our next cruise.

Have fun on your cruise!

Here's a link to a price list for Carnival sponsored events.... it could be current, but check with CCL to be sure.

As for slot pulls, sometimes the CH (Casino Host) helps, but always plan your slot pull yourself. If you have a very large group for the slot pull....by all means, let the CH know for sure.

Make sure you do it on a Lock N Link machine, they pay the best on CCL. WOF not so much

Please share the Lock N Link info. Not sure I have seen one before?? As for WOF, we have only had a 1 in 8 payoff on it, over the years... that was for the slot pulls only.. :) Just curious?

Lock n links if you get 3 hearts on row they lock and bonus begins. Each time a heart appears that touches your locked hearts it tags on and adds you bet to each heart. This repeats until either the screen is full of hearts or 3 misses in a row. It's a fun game. I'm sure you can find it on youtube

I recently ran a small slot pull. I notified John Heald 3 days before sailing, but he was on vacation. Someone else forwarded it to the ship for me but when I went to the casino, the host said and I quote "I have no idea who is John Heald". However he graciously provided 3 shirts and 3 hats.

I have run several slot pulls and never notified John Heald. On our last one, I just approached the casino host let her know we had over 30 people who would be participating. She offered some free gifts and I picked them up the morning of the slot pull. Some tshirts and a trophy. It was GREAT fun!!!
