greenseaships Posted August 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Hi all! I admit, I haven't had many questions about my cruise coming this weekend on the Carnival Imagination. But now I do. I sailed once before, also on Imagination, but I did not take in any live shows in the ship's theater. Now I have my wife along and it would be nice to take in a show but, 1. I can't find anything in my cruise manager that talks about what shows are going on when on the ship. 2. Do I need to buy tickets in advance or can I buy them on the ship- heck, I don't even know if I NEED to buy tickets. Is it included in the fare? Just show up in time to grab a seat? I appreciate the advice, thanks!
SadieN Posted August 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2017 No need to buy tickets or make reservations for anything on the Imagination except for some Spa services and Chef's Table. You'll have two comedians splitting up to 3 shows a night, piano bar, 2 production shows (IIRC one is Epic Rock, lots of Queen. Forget what is the second show.) Deck party or two, music in the Atrium, Casino Bar and Karaoke. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
greenseaships Posted August 30, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted August 30, 2017 (edited) Thank you! Yes we made a res for a massage for my wife. Looking forward to showing her what a cruise is like! I assume that once we board we will find a program listing entertainment and times? In our room? Sorry I guess I'm still pretty new to this. :P Edited August 30, 2017 by greenseaships
SadieN Posted August 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Yes. The FunTimes will be on your bed or vanity. More copies can be found at most bars, Guest Services or on the Hubb app. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
TomAceEsq Posted August 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Divas and Epic Rock are the shows. Absolutely do not miss Epic Rock. Divas in my opinion was just ok, but the entertainers had a lot to do with that. Epic Rock was enjoyable but they just swapped out singers and dancers a couple months ago and the quality of the shows have dropped off quite a bit. Still fun though. TomAceEsq Posted August 30, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Also, it's super fun to do the Behind the Fun tour on the sea day. Very interesting to see the inner workings of the ship. It rarely fills on Imagination but book it sooner rather than later just to be safe.
