Stace894 Posted August 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Has anyone stayed in the Spa Rooms on the NCL Escape on deck 15? I know enough not to book directly under the pool deck under normal situations, but the Spa rooms make it tempting as it promises you Spa Access vs. taking a chance on getting a week long pass. Any reports on the noise levels, or particular rooms blocks to try or avoid?
Fiona2011 Posted August 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Yes! A friend and I stayed on deck 15 in January and loved it. We had a forward cabin, so we were under the Salon area (15742ish) A couple of times we heard a little bit from the pool area, but it was very minimal, like an announcement or maybe music if we were on our balcony. It was a quick hop up to the Spa, which we made frequent use of. We actually saved about $50 when we rebooked to a spa balcony as we were planning to get a pass anyway. Being forward, when we got off of elevators or to the end of the stairs, these rooms have their own little dead-end hallway, which was nice-not a lot of foot traffic outside the door. Rare BirdTravels Posted August 31, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Just watch for the gym above. I don't remember the Escape spa rooms. On the Breakaway, some of the spa rooms are under the gym where you may get treadmill pounding starting at 6 am.
Fiona2011 Posted August 31, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Good point, Birdtravels! We might have been a little more forward than I remembered-closer to the 15730's because we never heard the treadmills. However, if you choose port side, there are cabins above, so that's another option.
MikeBTN Posted August 31, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Check pricing - many times the spa rooms are $300+ more per person, but the spa pass is only $199 per person. Nothing special about the staterooms themselves, so no need to over pay for spa access.

Yes, good to check, we just lucked out and it was $50 less than what the price we paid for our balcony+ the spa pass would have been. Timing can play a part, I'm sure. $hip$hape Posted September 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 1, 2017 (edited) Just booked my week pass. So...freaking...excited!!! I have never done anything like it. Funny(odd) I just called a PCC at NCL to check the price. We will be on the Bliss next April. She said since the Bliss is a new ship, they have not yet set the prices. She also said, I would not be able to book the Spa until 90 days prior to the cruise.:) However, she said based on the Breakaway, it usually comes out to about $25.00 a day per person. How much per-day did it cost you? Edited September 1, 2017 by $hip$hape

$hip$hape Posted September 1, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 1, 2017 (edited) Breakaway Spa pass was $199 to prebook for last week's sailing. Onboard price was higher. Thanks. So that's about $33.00 per day pp. We booked a "Spa Balcony" since we want the Spa guaranteed on our upcoming NCL Bliss TransAtantic cruise(many sea days). In the past, we have found the Spa "sold out" when trying to book onboard. Edited September 1, 2017 by $hip$hape
