Boyfriend wants to drink... where can I get the most bang for my buck?

We will be cruising to St. Maarten in two weeks. We decided not to get the drinks package on the cruise line and I am thinking that it could be worth finding an all inclusive resort pass or maybe finding a place with really good drink deals. I'd love to just spend some time on the beach and have drinks brought to me. I had heard, for example, for $20 you can beach access at Holland House along with a bucket of beers. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?
